Lloyd's Register Building

Commemorative Plaque
Bronze pattern for a commemorative plaque being crafted for the re-opening of the Lloyd’s Register building, showing raised lettering on a metal surface in a workshop.

We were delighted to create a special commemorative plaque for Lloyd’s Register, marking the re-opening of their original headquarters, the historic Lloyd’s Register Building in London.

This building, rich in maritime heritage and architectural significance, has been beautifully restored to honour its legacy while embracing a new chapter for the organisation. Our team was proud to contribute to this moment by designing and crafting a bespoke plaque that captures both the tradition and prestige of Lloyd’s Register.

For this particular piece, we felt that less is more. The design leans into a classic and timeless style, featuring a traditional serif font and a bevelled border. The plaque has a smooth background with a patinated finish that creates an antique look, perfectly complementing the historic building. Over time, the finish will continue to develop a natural character.

We are honoured to have played a small part in commemorating this important moment and extend our congratulations to everyone at Lloyd’s Register on the re-opening of their historic home, which was officially reopened by HRH The Princess Royal on 16th September 2025.

Whatever your vision, we can craft a cast bronze plaque that’s entirely unique to you, with no templates or restrictions, and a design tailored to your needs. We're here to assist you, every step of the way. If you see something you love, don't hesitate to reach out to us for pricing details and specifications.
