Blue Plaques

Traditional metal blue plaques – cast bronze & aluminium heritage markers.

Link the people of the past with the buildings of the present.

  • Serving as historical markers, our blue plaques are cast in aluminium and powder-coated for an exceptional finish.
  • Whether celebrating a person who's made an important contribution to human welfare, commemorating an event or linking a location with a historical figure, we can assist with the design to help ensure your plaque leaves the best impression and is legible from a distance.

Bespoke blue heritage plaque honouring Mervyn ('Sandy') Griffiths (1909–1974), an international football referee. Expertly crafted in our traditional foundry and hand-finished by professional sign makers.

  • Aluminium plaques are made using the same sand-casting process as our bronze ones. While bronze is the preferred material for outdoor applications, when properly coated, lacquered, and maintained, aluminium is a viable and beautiful outdoor signage option.
  • Typically, our blue plaques are supplied with two drilled holes for wall fixing and include dome head screws painted to match the plaque's background. However, we can also offer rear studs as an alternative fitting option.
