Fast turnaround bronze plaque manufacturing without compromise

At Anglia Sign Casting, we are always proud to work on projects that celebrate craftsmanship, British industry and quality without compromise. That is why we were delighted to recently be commissioned by Hawkstone to produce 41 individual cast plaques for their top-selling stockists.

The plaques were presented at this year’s Farm Fest, which meant the project came with a particularly demanding turnaround. Once the final design had been approved, we had just under two weeks to complete all 41 plaques, from pattern making and casting through to the finishing process.

Each plaque measured 10 x 7 inches and featured four drilled corner holes for wall mounting. The plaques were produced with a naturally patinated finish and linished lettering, creating a strong contrast that beautifully highlighted the design. To ensure long-lasting protection against oxidisation, every plaque was coated with a durable matte lacquer.

What made this project especially rewarding was that every plaque was completely individual, requiring great attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process. Despite the tight deadline, we were pleased to complete the entire order ahead of schedule and personally hand deliver the plaques to the brewery in the Cotswolds.

It was a fantastic project to be involved in and a pleasure to work alongside a brand that actively supports British farming while remaining passionate about quality craftsmanship.
